Congratulations to Walnut Block! Their Blicks Lane 2007 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc was named a "Top Value" in the May 15th issue of Wine Spectator Magazine.

World-renowned wine authority and Master of Wine Jancis Robinson wrote of Hentley Farm Fool's Bay Dirty Bliss 2006, "This mainly Grenache blend with 20% Shiraz reminded me of a Chateauneuf with a little beef extract blended in. It's got the same light colour and perhaps just a bit more framework. But it's also impressively fruity and round for the money. A name worth looking out for."

In his 1/2/08 blog, Harvey Steiman of Wine Spectator calls First Drop winemaker Matt Gatt "a rising star." He goes on to say that First Drop's wines "compete with some of Barossa's biggest names" and that "First Drop is becoming a winery to be reckoned with."

Fox Gordon Eight Uncles Shiraz
The 2005 vintage produced fruit with primary flavors such as cherry and blackberry, with spicey cashew complexity from the range of French Oaks that the wines is matured in.
