Cabernet Franc
Barossa Valley

100% Barossa Valley Cabernet Franc from 25 year old vines flourishing in the sands of Vine Vale. The grapes are harvested at premium ripeness, destemmed and naturally fermented on skins for 10 days. They are then pressed straight to old, large format oak casks and left to age for 6 months before hand bottling. Zero additives.

This is a ripe and juicy expression of Cabernet Franc. Winemaker Dave Geyer lets the characters of the site shine. Ripe mulberries, red and black currant and tomato leaf are dominant on the nose. Take a sip and discover a plump and friendly wine with playful tannins. Gulpable and a pure joy to drink.

This sparked his interest in all things viticulture and preceded a 7 year stint in the winery. Given an opportunity to travel for vintage to the US in 2007, the goal of one day producing his own wines was cemented. A trial run ensued in 2009 where he and his brother worked to develop ‘Geyer Brothers’. Learn More »
