Grenache
McLaren Vale

From a single vineyard planted in the 1950's this medium-bodied wine is all about pretty aromatics, texture and savoury tannins. Hand-picked, wild fermented with 30% whole bunches. Kept on skins for four weeks before basket pressing straight to old French oak. The wine matured on full lees before being gravity racked to bottle, un-fined and unfiltered.

Cloudy dark ruby colour in the glass. Rose petal, cinnamon, rhubarb, gentle natural feel. Plums and cherries. Good tension, fine sandy tannin and very good length. Plenty of personality and charisma.
