2007
Small Gully
'Mr Black's Concoction' Shiraz
Barossa Valley

Selected from some of the sections of Darren's vineyards that ripen late, these grapes produce a wine that is lush and drinkable showing ripe Barossa Shiraz characters and exhibiting intense middle palate fruit sweetness.

Deep garnet-brick colored, this offers evolving aromas of prunes, dried figs and blackberry preserves over roasted nuts and leather. Very big, concentrated and full-bodied, it fills the mouth with mature dark berry and gamey flavors with crisp acid and a medium level of velvety tannins, finishing long.
