Le Ragnaie
Brunello di Montalcino DOCG

This caresses the palate with dark cherries, plums, spices, tobacco. This is an especially dark, plush wine that is indicative of the vintage. In keeping with the style of the year, the 2007 is quite open today and will likely always be an accessible Brunello. With time in the glass the wine truly blossoms, showing off gorgeous nuances of sweet roses, spices and anise, all of which add considerable lift.

These vines are the highest of any in Montalcino, some reaching above the DOCG mandated 1,960 feet above sea level, south facing in the central zone above Soldera di Case Basse. As one of the highest points in the region it became famous... Learn More »
