Valturio
'Solco'
Marche IGT
Solco (translated means a groove or furrow), is a very serious wine that will be rewarded with a little patience. The rare breed Rebo shows its face in this blend. Rebo is a hybrid of Merlot and Teroldego that was created by Rebo Rigotti in 1948. Teroldego is a sibling of the French grape Dureza, which is the parent grape of Syrah, and grows primarily in Alto-Aldige.
Immense and enveloping, with a predominating aroma of white heather and black berries, elderberries and red currants. This leads to refined toasted notes spices with hints of vanilla, mocha, tobacco and roasted almonds. Solid and muscular, with well-balanced, harmonious tannins.
