Mount Benson

What is this exactly? It has a little Cornas with a touch of Sonoma Coast and the richness of the Barossa. This some seriously crazy good booze. The grapes are handpicked and destemmed with 2% whole cluster. The wine is fermented for ten days on skins then pressed using a delicate wooden basket press. The wine is not pumped but gravity fed to seasoned French barriques. After 24 months, the wine is hand bottled without fining or filtration.
