Pinot Noir
Southern Valleys

A great example of the distinctive characteristics of ripeness, texture and minerality – qualities unique to the ancient Greywacke rock and Loess clay soils found on the Auntsfield Estate.

Fruit for this wine was hand harvested, then carefully and diligently hand sorted to ensure that no less than perfect fruit entered the winery. The fruit which made the grade was gently destemmed and transported to tank using gravity techniques. This wine was made with a minimalist philosophy, designed to enable the characteristics of the grapes and the vineyard to be revealed.

This intensely concentrated Pinot Noir has aromas of ripe berry fruit, spices and savory nuances. A rich palate of berry fruit, dark plum flavors with hints of lavender and licorice integrates with supple tannins to create a seamless wine with length and complexity.
