Brendan got a screaming deal on a neglected Pinot vineyard halfway between Basket Range and Lenswood just off of Lobethal Road a few years back. The site sits on 12 acres with 8 planted. He farms with little intervention, hand picks the vineyard and ferments without the use of commercial yeasts. Like his 'family' winery, BK experiments with a bit of skin contact but zero stems in this vintage. For the $$$, you'd be hard pressed to find better Pinot Noir anywhere.

Layered soulful vocals crunched with blues guitar enter into sweet and sour cherry, exotic spice and mysterious forest undergrowth. Seductive aromas dramatize the opening of this rock show. Listen further and the purity is heart tingling with bright crushed berries; charred cinnamon and just a background beat of savory, meaty mushroom. Catch the main tone of silk with a seamless structure leading to a Pinot song that plays long and a little complicated.
